Radio Mirchi betters ICC World Cup Programming

India's largest FM Station Radio Mirchi has joined hands with a Dubai based Cricket Radio to make it's ICC World Cup programming more interesting. It has roped in former cricketer Kapil Dev to be a part of it's ICC World Cup campaign. This partnership will not only serve Radio Mirchi’s purpose but it will also make a way for Cricket Radio to enter into the Indian market.

Speaking about this partnership, Ajay Sethi, the Chairman of Dubai based Channel 2 group and founder of Cricket Radio said that,  the company is feeling proud to take this exclusive initiative with Radio Mirchi,  as the cricket fever is on peak in India these days and this will enable the fans to have a great time with Kapil Dev.

Ranjit Madgavkar, National Creative Head, Radio Mirchi added that Kapil's presence will add more spice to the ongoing cricket fever, amongst the fans and it is a pleasure for Mirchi to have a simple person like him who always speaks from the heart.

In this new initiative Kapil will not only share his views on recent matches,  he will also answer calls, play his favorite numbers, asking quizzes, and share jokes with Sud in his program 'Hansi ke Fawaare'. Above all he will entertain all his listeners and enjoy all these activities with RJ.

On this note Kapil said that he is having a great time with his stint at Radio Mirchi and enjoying the interaction with Mirchi's RJ's. He appreciated Radio Mirchi's initiative of making this World Cup special to fans and wished India to bring the World Cup, at home this time.
