India vs England World Cup tie historic, live score, highlights and video

India vs England World Cup tie historic, live score, highlights and video. Strauss is rightly the man of the match. He can be called man of the tournament so far.

Strauss must be feeling very disappointed as his efforts almost went if vain after what seemed an excellent beginning. Strauss played a magnificent inning of 158 runs off just 145 balls. His inning included 18 fours and one massive six.

His and Bell’s partnership was great and one of the best in the World Cup so far. Both played well and brought their team very close to victory.

But the middle order’s collapse was so sudden and shocking that at one point the loss looked certain. But thanks to Shehzad’s mighty six in the last over and some good running between wicket by Swann took the match to a great tie.

It is the fourth tie in the history of the World Cup so far.

Dhoni looked ecstatic after the tie and said “The way they started I definitely am happy with a tie…When they were 2 down the way they were going the bowlers were finding it very tough. Zak changed it around for us he is a different bowler if you try and come at him it's very difficult. It could count as a win in the points table at the end."

Strauss looked disappointed and said, “We were in a great position and then had a shocking Powerplay. After that we were lucky and grateful for Swann and Shahzad to getting us to the tie. We're happy and devastated at the same time but privileged to play in a game like this."

Earlier Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s 120 runs off 115 balls took his team to 338 runs, a score that no one thought was in reach of English batting. But Strauss took control of things and brought laurel to his team and gave us a great game.
