The sides have gone head-to-head twice in ODI action and Thursday they will meet each other again in an ICC Cricket World Cup Group B match at Mohali.
What Happened So Far: South Africa beat the West Indies in its opening match and looked comfortable in doing so, while Holland are coming off defeats to England and most recently a crushing loss to the West Indies.
What could happen: After missing the win against West Indies, all-rounder Jacques Kallis he return against the Netherlands where he is expected to join Smith, AB De Villiers, Hashim Amla and JP Duminy in an explosive batting attack.
Problem: Netherlands depends on certain players and fail to respond when those individuals don’t get going.

Netherlands captain Peter Borren was surprised by the punishment his team received against the West Indies – stating that they were not at their best on the day.
“We certainly have more potential than what we showed against them [West Indies],” he said.
Ryan ten Doeschate, after an impressive inning against England, failed to repeat the effort against the Windies but will be hoping to deliver another super performance to give his side a chance against the South Africans.
