The experts reckoned the conditions will help the bowlers initially but Netherlands chose to defy that wisdom. Each team made two changes: Bangladesh replaced Raqibul Hasan with Shahriar Nafees and Naeem Islam with left-arm spinner Suhrawadi Shuvo.
