Kochi IPL team renamed

Kochi: The Kochi IPL team, who were earlier known as Indi Commandos, will henceforth be known as Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) sources said.
The official name of the team has been approved by the BCCI and the IPL governing council, they added.
KCA, on Saturday, said preparations for the first IPL encounter between Kochi, making their debut this season, and Royal challengers Bangalore, were almost complete and it was fully geared up to host the five matches of the home team here from April 9.
